The staff at Structures Salon & Spa loves to be a part of our community. We work closely with local nonprofits like the Heartly House, to provide free makeovers for victims of domestic abuse. We’ve set up a program with Frederick County Department of Social Services to provide confidence boosting makeovers for at risk or transitional teens. Through the winter holidays, we adopt families as a salon through Advocates for Homeless Families.

Structures Salon and Spa is conveniently located on Carroll Creek Linear Park in downtown Frederick, MD. You can park on the street or easily park in the Carroll Creek Public Parking Garage located behind the salon - 44 E Patrick Street, next to the library.

Structures is my home. I have the luxury of being able to honestly say, I wake up every day loving my job, my clients and my co-workers! I manage the salon, as well as work full time behind the chair. I started out in this field as an apprentice. I studied under TIGI International Educators and developed my craft over 3yrs before spreading my wings. I have taken many advanced education courses thru Redken, TIGI, Xtreme Lashes, Norvell Tanning, J Beverly Hills, Eufora, and more!! I even attended MUD, Make Up Designory School, in Burbank, CA. I have a passion for teaching that I can fulfill at Structures mentoring other apprentices. I pride myself on listening to what a client wants and giving them a product that makes them smile.

You may recognize me from behind the desk, but from now on you can find me on the floor! I'll be working as an assistant to the stylists in my role as an apprentice, but I'll also be taking clients of my own as a Make-up Artist. I love all aspects of beauty and hair, and I'm very grateful to work with and learn from such talented people! As soon as I started working here, I instantly felt like part of the Structures family. It has quickly become my second home!

I’ve been involved in the beauty industry for more than half my life and not only love working with my clients in the chair, but also providing hair design and make-up expertise for photo shoots and, most recently, New York Fashion Week.
My forte is textured and deconstructed haircut as well as the art of hair extensions, but I also love attending to the details of the classic bob. I also have a passion for color, from subtle blonde highlights to bold block coloring, and have trained with the best from Wella, Sebastian, Eufora and Redken. My joy is to work with my clients to design the perfect look for their lifestyle.

I studied cosmetology at The Temple, a Paul Mitchell School located in Downtown Frederick in 2005. I feel I have found my place in the industry, which allows me to feel creative and inspired, while maintaining a strong and positive work environment.
I perform a variety of stylish cuts and custom coloring, as well as complete hair transformations to the newest and latest styles, including bringing new life to classic styles. I'm also very experienced with keratin treatments and facial waxing. I specialize in custom airbrush tanning and I'm certified in Xtreme Lashes eyelash extensions.
I look forward to bringing new style and care to our clients, and hope that my many services will fit all of your cosmetic needs. My intentions are to having you walking into the world with your new or refreshed look, wearing a strong, confident smile...and that is the highlight of my day.

I graduated from The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School and started at Structures Salon & Spa as an assistant, then graduated to become a stylist. I specialize in color, cuts, make up, spray tans, styling, and up dos and I especially love being a part of wedding day services!
I continue to take classes at the salon to further my education as a stylist. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my dog, going to sporting events, making my fresh homemade sangria, and working on the weekends as a server/bartender in the downtown Frederick area.

When I'm not taking care of my family, I'm taking care of the Spa! I love to explore not only the Bioelements Product line we carry, but all natural ingredients and products that keep your skin feeling alive and well-nurtured. I began my esthetic career in the ‘80s as a line manager/makeup artist for Calvin Klein, Charles of the Ritz and Ultima II, followed by make-up artistry for wedding and headshot photography and special effects makeup for community theater and student film work. Although I enjoy all aspects of esthetic services, my favorite tasks are educating clients on skincare and creating the best brows for eyeshape.

Starting at a very young age, I remember going to the hair salon with my mom and knowing it was what I wanted to do when I grew up. I'd like to say that I've always had an artistic spark to me. As a freshman in high school, I worked in a salon as a shampoo girl and worked my way up from there. There are so many aspects about what I do that I love. Meeting new people, gaining friendships and building confidence is definitely number one. I also totally love the creative side of things, using hair as a canvas to create something beautiful. I'm so lucky to say that I really love what I do.
